Campoare Jailed

Former president of Burkina Faso Blaise Compaore has been sentenced to life imprisonment for complicity in the murder of Thomas Sankara.

Mr. Sankara, a Marxist revolutionary, was gunned down by a group of armed men in the capital, Ouagadougou in 1987.
