Economic Crimes Court set-up in Guinea Conakry

Junta leaders in Guinea-Conakry have set up an economic crimes court. It’s indicted several members of the deposed President Alpha Conde’s administration, including former prime minister and now opposition leader Cellou Dalein Diallo.

The coup leaders have also launched a massive drive to reclaim government houses and lands as well as other government facilities that are currently in private hands.

Col Mammady Doumbouya who took over power from longtime leader of Guinea Conakry President Alpha Conde has set up the economic Crimes Court to recover national resources that were lost during the ill fated reign of Alpha Conde.
